The One where Blizzards and Ice bring nothing nice

Heyo!! Elder Hayes here. So it is currently blizzarding and snowing in Texas. As well as in other places across the United States. 

The weather has been terrible and I'm sick of it We are sheltering in place right now as a mission, so it is pretty slow. The wind chill has brought it down to -14 F and multiple areas have lost power.

Other than that though earlier in the week we had some good lessons and picked up a new missionary! His name is Elder Stapley from St. George Utah. He is awesome!

So yeah we taught Jesus and that went well. He understood the Restoration really well and read the testimonies of the witnesses! Sadly though he let us know yesterday over text that he wants to move back to Colorado and is planning on doing it. Which is super sad, but he said he still wants to meet with missionaries there so yay!

We also taught Daniel. We read 2 Nephi 4 in the Book of Mormon with him and he loved it! He got a lot out of it.

Other than that it's been a cold week and today and tomorrow are supposed to be the coldest days so prayers are appreciated that my power doesn't go out and I'm able to cook myself hot food today.
