Wow, it's November!

 Hey everyone! Kinda crazy its November huh? October went in a flash! This week was really good! Let me tell you why!

So on Tuesday, we had interviews with President Chapman! That was awesome love that guy! My interview was really good. He is such a support for me! Then we went to Burleson and practiced for the piano duet and we are ready to go! So we are finally filming it next week and I'm so excited about that we also had a lesson that night so that was a lot of fun! We taught Evelia and she is doing great! She read the Restoration pamphlet but didn't start the book of Mormon so we went over the Restoration with her and answered any questions she had and then testified of the power of the Book of Mormon! She said she would read it so we are excited about that:)

On Wednesday we went to the Buddhist temple like normal but we left a little early to go to lunch with a less-active member! He is well and he and his wife actually just had a baby! So that is really exciting:) Later that night we decided to stop by Pedro and Blanca's house. They were some really solid people being taught before but we hadn't been able to get in contact with them! We found Pedro and he invited us in!! He was super cool and said he wanted to come back to Church because he noticed his life was going better when he was going to church! We shared a scripture with him and set up another lesson so hopefully, we can get them to start progressing again! We also tried stopping at Blanca Rojas' house but she didn't answer we haven't heard from her in like 2 or 3 weeks so keep her in your prayers that we can find her! She's the lady we had on a date for baptism so sadly we had to drop her date:( hopefully, she can respond to us!!

On Thursday we had a really good music devotional that the mission put together and it was so fun even though it was over zoom haha. I love music! It touches my spirit in a way that very few things can then we had District Council and I asked my trainee Elder Vickers to give his first training and I asked him if he could do it on the Atonement! He nailed it! What a stud! So that was awesome and then like every Thursday night I had Institute and my Pathway gathering! Oh what a joy

On Friday we had a little lesson with Elder Vickers friend Riana(the one who got baptized) and we just read in the Book of Mormon with her so that was fun:) and then we went to the animal shelter and it was gross like normal haha, but it wasn't too bad. We cleaned the congs that are full of peanut butter and dog food and picked up dog poop. So ya know not the most exciting thing but hey it's service.

On Saturday we helped out at the Buddhist temple so that was lit! I was also on exchanges with Elder Cowan! He goes home in 40 something days so that's pretty crazy!! I love him though, we had a really good time!! We also had a service in the afternoon and helped a member do some rigorous shrub and tree cutting! It was pretty intense but a lot of fun! And he made us food! So that's awesome:) such a good guy.

Sunday was really good! A testimony meeting is always a super uplifting experience:) I also played the piano for all the hymns so that was a lot of fun we had our first ward correlation finally and that was really good! Our WML is pretty cool! He just had a baby so they had been a little busy! But he's ready to help us now! The rest of our Sunday was relatively chill, but we did have a light the world meeting to kick off this season! So that's super exciting:)) I'm stoked!
