Derek Goes to the Temple

Derek went to the Bountiful temple to receive his endowments on August 22nd, 2019. Gene Jr, Kira, and Sofía were also there with him. Doesn't he look great? His Farewell talk will be this coming Sunday at 9am. We are also having a small get together on Saturday, August 21st from 6-8pm for Derek to have a chance to visit with friends--and he sure has many! 

Derek seems very prepared to tackle his mission and serve the Lord for two years of his life. Two years. Two years! It is a very long time for his mom, but I pray that he becomes so involved in the work he doesn't miss home so much.
